Dib Based on his reputation, I'm guessing that it's more a case that if you predict disaster for long enough the probability of being right increases.
But whatever anybody thinks of his economic philosophies, the man was pointing to flaws in the system meaning this wasn't the same old doomsday nonsense. Meanwhile, they brought him out for the singular purpose to laugh at him. Even just looking at the trailer image under the caption of the S&P being up. Either way, point is that he was RIGHT.
