We need more crappy death-metal songs about pretty things. Next up they sing about ponies and flowers.
Death metal?

Yeah this is some kind of avant gard 80s punk mixed with buttrock.

If you'd like to know what actually death metal looks and sounds like, see Origin:

And Cryptopsy (Note: the baroque-esque melody): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7yfHiPk3gw

I'm willing to bet my grandmother would not confuse this for death metal.

I said it was crappy death-metal

Hope these guys kept their day jobs.
Terrible band. Anyway I wanted to comment to mention that Origin's guitarist sold me my first decent guitar at guitar center in San Fran four years ago, and even threw in a case for practically nothing. Didn't think anyone knew about them haha.

Terrible? No way, I genuinely like this, it sort of sounds like a (genuinely) mentally ill version of Oxbow crossed with Racebannon. But also unintentionally hilarious, and played by people who can't actually play their instruments. Complete reformed this year, actually, but the new stuff's terrible.

No, you don't.

holy fuck. now i know where music goes to die: Fort Worth.

It's where they put all the people too crazy to live in Dallas. And all the trees.

The bassplayer is in his own universe.
I think the singer is also the frontman for Liars.
