YES. This sketch, particularly the scene where Abraham Lincoln is chasing a little kid around with a gun, trying to kill him, is the rarest of things, a piece of comedy that actually brings tears to these eyes.
And also: is something wrong with me for thinking Julia Sweeney is cute?
Egad, I hope not! Listen to/see her one woman shows. I dare you not to be at least a little smitten.
If you close your eyes and listen, Julia Sweeney sounds just like Dorothy Gail in this sketch.
So The Terminator does work as a comedy.
