I assume they're going to pay in the form of several tons of delightful folk crafts.

Whereever two or more gather in my name, and all that. Phelps isn't gone, and he's not going to stop.

Still, five stars, favorited.

I feel comment is needed, but i can make no comment that is better then this clip, and the promise of sweet, sweet, bankruptcy inducing justice therein.

How did they reach that amount? for every fag-enabler in the city?
Genesis - 2008-11-29
If I sued I wouldve asked to be paid in gold medals regardless of them not being related to michael.

Never comment again.

The total judgment has been reduced to 5 million. I haven't noticed them around town as much as I used to. Maybe they've lost some of their ability to mobilize. I hope so. They are from Topeka, but are publicly reviled almost without exception here.

Don't they have way more than 11 million from the entire family being asshole lawyers who litigate at a pace Jack Thompson could only dream about? Like, they protest, someone says 'get the fuck away' and they sue for 1st amendment violations?
DMKA - 2008-11-29
What grounds were the lawsuit filed on? "Oh God some whackos offended me"?

So much for free speech.

Invasion of privacy, intentional affliction of emotional distress, and defamation are all potential offenses. Defamation was thrown out of court on 1st amendment grounds, the rest of the charges stuck and carried the multimillion dollar damages.

I think it has more to do with vindictive jury + Anti American soldier rhetoric spewing cult + this has been going on for a while = wonderful outcome for everyone.

I hope they are so poor now they have to eat their protest signs. That would rock.
