Holy crap, I remember watching this promo around the time it came out. I also remember thinking that it looked like the lamest game ever.

Think of all the ways a robotic yellow minotaur can appear out of a purple ball, throw something at your feet, and then disappear!

Anyone know how the framerate of actual gameplay compared to the smoothness in their trailer?

Couldn't possibly be as bad as the Metroid Prime series.

What's awesome is that, in the final game, the footage you're seeing here is shoehorned into a window about 1/5th the size of the whole screen. The rest of the screen is all interface and status displays.

Funny thing is that the gameplay was almost exactly like Iron Helix which predated it, and Iron Helix was a much much better game with far better graphics and video usage.
