God dammit Lurchi, how did you know Beastie Boys was my Kryptonite?

This is so obviously their best album ever, and by ever I mean it'll be better than anything else they ever do. It was after they started taking hip hop seriously but before they got all preachy and self conscious.

Sort of sucks that they apparently couldn't get clearance for most of the samples they used on the album version.

Paul's Boutique was definitely their peak, everything on this album is just totally fucking awesome.

"naw mine's clarence"

isn't there a video version of this where hurricane hangs on the camera?

StanleyPain - 2009-01-12

The Criterion Beastie Boys DVD has an amazing version of this where you can change between all of the camera angles and all the available footage while the song plays.

And say what you will, Paul's Boutique is still their best album.

Yes, I have that DVD set, too. You can also switch audio tracks for 2 or 3 remixes for each song, too. Never since have I have seen all the features of DVD technology actually used.

Ok now I have to dig the album out. This is in my top 10 favorite songs.

"was" it?

Anyway, I was six when this came out, can I get a pass?
