Holy shit, Frank Welker. I don't think I've ever heard his actual voice before, even though I'm pretty sure I've heard his voice every day of my life.

Peter Cullen tells a story about how one day they were all doing some show or another, and over in the corner, Frank Welker is on a payphone. He drops a coin in the slot, dials a number, carries on a five minute conversation, hangs up and checks the coin slot... and everyone remembers "hey, there's no phone in here - that's just Frank Welker being Frank Fucking Welker." Even the other pros in the business talk about him being on The Next Level like that.

(that other dude is fucking terrible, though.)

The fact that he didn't do the voice of Megatron in the Transformers movie is one more reason that movie is a horrible abortion of a non-film.
