My dog has a toy that makes the exact same sound when you sling-hoot it into the wall.
Up to this point, it has never occurred to me that there is a big enough market for toy sounds that bootlegs of certain noises would exist - do toy manufacturers really save that much money by not making their own sounds?

Hooper_X - 2009-02-01 I'm just stabbing in the dark here, but I would imagine that whoever makes the chips with noises probably have a "stock library" of noise chips. Chickens clucking, machine guns, sirens, etc. etc. etc. If you want those, they're relatively cheap. If you want a custom chip, it's more, 'cause they have to record a new one, however they do that.
