As always, the YouTube commentary is brought to us from an alternate universe, populated by idiots.

Salt is a helluva drug.
baleen - 2009-02-05

this reminds me of when we'd build fires on beaches in Washington and all the giant sand fleas would come out and swarm towards it, because they are irresistibly led to heat. it smelled like cooking shrimp, so we ate them.

they tasted no different than shrimp, so we took butter and fried them by the dozen. it was good.

I can never tell if you're being serious.

Aelric - 2009-02-06
As a former Washington resident, let me say that this is just baleen being another crazy character. Unless he is from Burien, in which case I imagine sandfleas are a mild example of what they eat.

Cleaner82 - 2009-02-06
I am of the mind that Baleen used to roast and eat sand fleas.

chairsforcheap - 2009-02-06

I agree, but shouldn't this have been a response to Hooper X's comment?

Well, when something like that pokes itself out of the sand, whether you know what it is or not, you might as well grab it.
