Oh, god, this show.
Even as a kid a lot of things about it bugged me. Mostly, though, the thing that bugged me was that the mannequin would come to life, so you'd think he'd be all fun and magical or something, but he was actually a really boring straight man who never did anything fun or unusual. Fuck you, mannequin. We gave you life in defiance of God's will, now cavort and caper if you want to keep it.

Aelric - 2009-02-20 Because Canada was the alright uncle that secretly loved your mom and since your dad America was never sober enough to give a shit about raising you, Canada did his best. Although, eventually, being near your mom so much without being able to make a move lest he besmirch him personal morals, Canada kinda fell into being gay, if for no other reason than to keep his love for your mom a secret. An who is your mom a metaphor within all this? Fuck if I know, I wrote myself into a corner.
