What you have to realise is that thanks to strict quarantine laws regarding the import of fruit and fruit products, fruit juice other than pineapple, mango and apple were difficult to get hold of in Australia until the early 80's and regarded as something of a luxury item. So while yes, it is perhaps a little tacky, the bottle of orange juice shown was considered an adequate consolation prize, being replaced by a rose's chocolate assortment in 1983 when orange juice became a mundane grocery item rather than a rare treat.
