Dave's abrasive personality distracts people from his talent.

I.E. Getting kicked out of Metallica for drinking too much.

Mustane is a great guitarist, one of the joys of Megadeth is listening to him toss a solo back and forth with the other guitarist. Too bad he's such an infamous asshole.
