Chibisuke I like the cartoon look, and the croissants. Disco Kid is great.
But the floaty mo-cap animation and the music lack any real punch to them. And the backgrounds are so dimly lit it feels like the environments are empty.
Also, for some reason I am getitng a serious Penny Arcade vibe off the 2D art. Particularly Von Kaiser.
It seems like it might be a fun rental, but it lacks any real substance that would make it the truly awesome sequel it should be. It's a shame too, because with the character design and the new dynamic between Mac and his coach, it seems they made it halfway to awesome and then were forced to just ship it.
