Brooks was an interesting person, too:
* She basically got blacklisted in Hollywood for making a couple of movies in Weimar-era Germany.
* She was completely open and honest about her sexual relationships (she liked it rough).
* She fucked Greta Garbo.
* After like 30 years in obscurity, she became a film historian in her own right.
* The haircut that defined an era.

Fantastic movie.

She was actually not a particularly dirty girl, that was Clara Bow. Louise Brooks lived a reasonably clean lifestyle, at least for a hollywood actor in the silent era.
