pfft. what-EVER.

Aelric - 2009-04-02

OK, was the foulest shit on earth, yet one of the best marketing ploys I ever saw.

Despite working commercially, Charles Burns is a fellow alumni ofv my old Alma Mater and absolutely awesome. Read "Black Hole" if you don't believe me. I gonna try to get his tag linked up double quick.

Jeff Fries - 2009-04-02

I wondered if that book was any good, it had a neat cover

Syd Midnight - 2009-04-02

The soda flopped but they did hire good artists. Charles Burns rules.

Jones Soda does a better job of being indie and weird, but the OK marketing was pretty great and I would have enjoyed being cool and drinking one if it didn't taste like corn syrup filtered through used cat litter.

Old_Zircon - 2009-04-02

They had ADS?

I used to drink this in middle school back in like'91

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-04-02

It was released in '94 you dumb cunt.

Kumquatxop - 2009-04-02

Holy hell. I had completely forgotten about this stuff. Its existence had literally been banished from my mind (by other equally useless things, no doubt).

SDAusmus - 2009-04-02

I liked OK soda. It kind of tasted like Coke mixed with orange soda and something spicy...

snothouse - 2009-04-02

There are VERY specific recipes on how to re-create the flavor online.

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-04-02

I thought it was pretty good.

It was no Josta.

NoCode - 2009-04-02

My sister saved a can and sold it on eBay recently for like 0.

fluffy - 2009-04-02

I never heard of this before.

Aelric - 2009-04-03

You must be this tall to ride the ride.

dr_rock - 2009-04-03

I'm in my early 30s and I can't remember this at all. Was this a national thing or just regional?

RockBolt - 2009-04-03

We had it in Colorado, I barely remember it but I know I did drink it in its short lifespan. I also had a sheet of stamps or stickers with the OK logo on them, I don't know where that came from either but it'd probably be worth something had I saved it instead of being 12 and finding hilarious places to stick them...

Aelric - 2009-04-03

Alright, actually, in all fairness, I assumed it was national. We had it in the northwest, but then again, we were probably the target demographic. It lasted about a year or two and the commercials had some prime time spots.

Aelric - 2009-04-03

I also forget I'm nearly 30, and that many of you are whippersnappers.

Cheese - 2009-04-03

Nearly 30!?! Wow, you're old!

Blandwiches - 2009-04-03

If you want to drink OK soda now just mix equal parts Coke and orange soda.

citrusmirakel - 2009-04-03

I have a 20 ounce bottle of this still sitting on a shelf.

Also, a four-foot high cylindrical cooler, although a friend of mine broke off the plastic lid years ago. But yeah.

Old_Zircon - 2013-05-26

When I checked IN about 2006 an unopened 12 pack was worth about 0, just FYI.
