Oh my god, I remember this. I had vaguely confused it with Superbook, but now it all comes back to me. Did the Mormons or someone pay to have this made? It doesn't seem like there's another viable explanation...
I remember watching this on ABC. I think someone convinced them to put it in with good shit that comprised the Saturday Morning Special, which I watched religiously.
It remains one of the oddest, most retarded, bizarre combinations for a cartoon I've ever seen. I haven't seen it in over twenty four years but I can remember it was clearly disturbing. I always wondered when they were going to make an episode where the Kingdom Chums got crucified but they never made it that far, much to my now chagrin.
