Realism is for nancylads and delicate, violet-scented pussywillows.
detc
Hell, who needs realism when you're flying through the air in a burning car filled with Koreans?

Caminante Nocturno
From 0:21 on it becomes amazing.

I like to think that's a French car alarm.

Not as mind blowing as the STALKER car glitch, but more amusing.
StanleyPain
Definitely a mod, since Rockstar removed the "fun" physics from the game before release.
Big Beef Burritos Supreme
Along with the fun, yes.

Cleaner82
Aside from the 'hallo's, that... was AWESOME.
TeenerTot
No, no..the hallos ADD to the awesomeness.

Cleaner82
I dunno about that. But I will say they give the whole thing a delightfully wierd vibe.

Desidiosus
They were just being friendly to the people they were running over.

Adham Nu'man
If this had been the game, I would have liked it.
themilkshark
I want that one.

We did a similr thing on battlefield 1942

We put rocket engines on the back of a german volkswagen jeep thingy and made right click thrust, and the behavior of the vehicle in this video is SPOT ON to the kind of shit that would happen.

However, it was even harder than this to stay alive. We even jacked up the vehicles health and made it out of tougher materials (1942 has a stupid material types system for determining what you can/cant do without exploding)

Man, as a game editor I can tell you theres nothing more fun than totally and completely bugfucking an engine and making it do shit its not really supposed to. Or just shit like this that should be possible anyways.

What fun is a physics-y game engine if Joe Schmoe cant edit it? I want a thousand beachball throwing dwarves jumping off of buildings and randomly catching fire. I want squirrels jumping into force fields and being flung off into the troposphere. I WANT A FLYING TANK
CornOnTheCabre
this should be the driving force behind video games, not fucking quick time events, wall hugging and gunmetal beige

B_Ko
Agreed. OogaBooga, you should hire me and help me create my brainchild vidya game masterpiece.

I must say that when the guy exiting the car started screaming, my first thought was "Sam Kinison? Huh. I didn't think he died like this, but I'm glad he lost some weight before he went."
Caminante Nocturno
Ha, ha, ha.

For some reason, the body slamming the chainlink fence with a realistic, yet subtle "clink!" makes this.
Stog
For me, it was the satisfying thump onto the roof of the building as the fat man finally reaches the end of his journey.

benchmark
Plink!

Thump.

robotkarateman
Four of my stars are for the clang into the fence at the end.

GoneGirl
Someone tell me how I can make my roommate's copy do this.

See, this is what GTAIV should have been!
