It's a Bud Abbott and Lou Costello joke, not Laurel and Hardy. There. I took the bait.
The best part of this movie is when it's over. Ok, I'll give it a few points for the cameo by Patrick Stewart and the cameo by the hunchback executioner from Blazing Saddles.
Why do you hate humor? Admittedly, this is one of the weaker scenes in the movie for those of us without the good fortune of having been born 70 years ago.

The best part of this movie is that it's not Dracula: Dead and Loving it. But that's really about its only redeeming feature.
