Now slice a BlendTec blender in half.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-04-20

The Super Slo Mo looks amazing, but I'm less impressed with this then i would be hoping, considering the thickness (Or lack of it) of the steel.

Old_Zircon - 2009-04-20

Yeah, definitely not as cool as the stuff from the first clip, more for the completist.

sosage - 2009-04-20

When the robots start rioting, I am fucking hanging out with this guy.

revdrew - 2009-04-20

Strike horizontal
Through a frozen tuna fish
Will it cut, Isao?

Shameful four eyed host,
I'm the modern samurai
I challenge it! (x)

Blade sings through the air
The crowd roars its approval
His soul conquers steel

B_Ko - 2009-10-27

Despite onlookers
I will do what i believe
I will crap my pants

glasseye - 2009-04-20

0.4mm is 26 gauge, that's SUPER thin. He's got good form and all, but cutting a thin, annealed sheet of steel with a sharp, hardened blade really isn't that impressive.

The airsoft pellet thing from the earlier video is far cooler.

dododge - 2009-05-03

There's a longer version of this clip on youtube with three more challenges, including cutting the tail off of an arrow mid-flight.

Comeuppance - 2009-04-20

Not to rain on this parade, but, to scale, isn't this like putting through aluminum foil with a pocket knife? Big fucking deal.

5 for how awesome this guy is. I don't know if he can ever top the airsoft pellet, because that was easily the most impressive sword-related stunt I've ever seen.

Aernaroth2 - 2009-04-21

Cutting through the steel plate with a sword may not be all that impressive (and really, it still is, because even thin steel is pretty strong and hard to cut like that), but what's really impressive here is how CLEANLY he cut it. If he weren't as good as he was, there would be a lot more bending, like they said in the video.

Pie Boy - 2009-05-31

by the by have you ever tried putting through aluminum foil before

i mean, do you know anything about golf

it's really fucking hard to putt through aluminum foil

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-04-21

The ripples in the slow-motion shot were hypnotic.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2009-04-21

Nice ripples, yes, but I'll never get over the airsoft slice.
