This is cool and all, but it's not really "busting" a myth. Pykrete has been a well established thing for decades.

Jamie mixes the Pykrete at 4:00 and Adam starts discussing the tests at 4:30, if you want to skip the intro.
You can also click through to YouTube for the full episode in six parts.

Well I'll be damned. If I had known about this I could have saved myself a lot of trouble. This winter we had a freezing rain and it kept melting and freezing so I threw down a bunch of wood stove pellets figuring the sawdust would absorb the moisture and then I could just shovel it off.
Then it froze. I had fucking pykrete on my walk all winter, there was not a damn thing I could do to break it up.

Five stars just for making the 'will it blend' tag mean something again.

I've been watching a bunch of Mythbusters lately, since they added a couple collections of the Netflix Instant Que thing. On the one hand, it's watchable enough, since there's glimmers of actual science (though some experiments make me angry with their lack of controllable method), plus there's fun explosions and fires and shit.
But on the other hand, there's that FUCKING NARRATOR, and all their stilted uncomfortably staged dialogue, plus their token pretty girl where they might as well just splice in Suicide Girl footage for all the use she is.

Five stars for all the Mythbusters angst and anger in the comments.
