Also why are they talking about winning the war on terror to begin with? I thought we all understood at this point that it's just a rhetorical device that you can't hope to "win" any more than you could a war on rain? Or am I just crazy?

Finally, it really is staggering how this whole thing sits on a foundational assumption that to protect the country you need to vote Republican. God am I so glad these people got the fucking boot.
