La Loco - 2009-05-04 This is not how you raise awareness of child abuse.
zatojones - 2009-05-04 I'm getting the idea that in much of the Western world outside of the US people have come to think that you can't educate someone about something terrible without making the lesson as shocking and explicit as possible. I have a feeling that within 10 years Britain is just going to start showing real kiddie porn and snuff films in their PSAs.
mcsancherson - 2009-05-05 This is exactly how you raise awareness of child abuse. Some black and white pictures of frowning girls or a 15-second PSA or whatever we get here in America really doesn't have any effect on you at all. This video OTOH is horrifying.
Bort - 2012-04-02 Why isn't it? The point seems pretty clear -- childhood molestation is an unsettling violation that stays with you your whole life -- and they found a way to communicate that sense of invasion. Visceral disgust is the point.
