The Palin joke did it for me.
mashedtater - 2009-05-11
the rush joke did break the stream though

From Washington Post comments:

Q: What's the difference between Rush Limbaugh and the Hindenberg?
A: One's a flaming Nazi gasbag, the other's a dirigible

mashedtater - 2009-05-12
nice

Xiphias - 2009-05-11
five stars for the limbaugh joke
Aoi - 2009-05-11
Entertaining. Wanda Sykes. This rare moment deserves five stars.
Hooper_X - 2009-05-11
She got down and dirty in the last 3:00 or so. The Limbaugh stuff was fucking brutal.
CornOnTheCabre - 2009-05-11
all of these stars go toward the Limbaugh stuff. the other stuff was p. characteristically dismal.

Hooper_X - 2009-05-11
I dunno, the idea of Olbermann waterboarding Sean Hannity is kind of darkly amusing.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-05-11
That was so gay.
Hugo Gorilla - 2009-05-11
The set was too complimentary. The jokes about Palin and Limbaugh were funny though.

Of course, the usual talking heads are going to ask how it wasn't likewise "treason" that liberals wanted the US to fail in Iraq. But it wasn't about liberals wanting the US to fail; it was about liberals foreseeing the nearly inevitable failure in Iraq, and wanting the US to back away. Kind of like how, when you're watching a "Friday the 13th" movie, when you shout "oooh don't go in that shed!" it's not because you want the character to fail at shed-entering.
HankFinch - 2009-05-12
What a wierd thing to say.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-05-12
You must stay the Shed Course! Don't change Sheds in mid-stream!

mouser - 2009-05-11
I'll give 5 stars to this even though there's no case for that many stars but rather because I had accidentally negative-voted it in the hopper by accident.
Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-05-11
Oh my god, that was fabulous.
mcsancherson - 2009-05-12
damn wanda
citrusmirakel - 2009-05-12
That was a long and unfunny fifteen minutes.
dickshapedfood - 2009-05-12
5 stars because this is the bright shining pinnacle of Wanda Sykes' career.
