The whole episode is full of shiver-worthy moments like this.

The junkies have a television. It only gets a shopping channel. Their kid has watched that and only that for entertainment.

To be fair, the knif show is great entertainment.

grrr, knife

Shiver-worthy only in the sense that you know what's going to happen and have to wait and wait and wait for it, from what I've seen from all the clips here. But I haven't watched the show. Maybe it's not so predictable? Or is that the whole premise?

This episode is mostly about Jesse trying to get his money back from some junkies who held up one of his dealers in the previous episode. This is merely one of many situations, it's Jesse being forced to see the lifestyles of one of his many meth customers and for that it's pretty good. You have to remember these are all just scenes from one big plot. Some plotlines conclude themselves in a straightforward fashion like this, and the rest get dragged on for a while.

It's straightforward, but the rest of the episode is sickening.

Hay Belly wants everything to to be five seconds long. Who needs buildup and payoff.

Granted, this one works a lot better if you've got the tension built up from the rest of the episode.

No, every clip from this show on poe was predictable. I was wondering if that was a recurring theme of the show, or just a coincidence.

What is this?

It is the best show.

I have poetv to thank for introducing me to this show.

My parents hipped me to it and my wife and I are burning through the first season on Netflix as soon as the baby gets asleep enough each night. I hope AMC does some kind of marathon or whatever over the summer so's we can be caught up in time for Season 3 (we weren't able to do that with Mad Men as Season 2 hasn't come out on dvd yet)...

My favorite part about this is that the skank in question is the same actress who plays the lovable "daylight hooker" on My Name is Earl. Watch that, then watch this, and it's even more horrifyingly weird.

(Also, you really have to watch the entire episode - the next bit is fucking hysterical.)
