Gotta love this guys genteel accent while he says, "The officer kicked him squarely in the head."
It's at 0:38. Pretty brutal.
Needs a "punt" tag.
"I kicked him in the head!"
"Oh, HIGH FIVE!"
I don't usually go in for the fuck tha police stuff, but fuck those guys.
Fuck the guy on the ground! The guy steals a car and recklessly drives it on the wrong side of the road. Just look at the first second of the video and you'll see that he almost kills the passengers in a compact pickup. And you say he doesn't deserve a kick in the head?
Hopefully he gets the beating he deserves in prison.
The great thing is going to be the beating that cop gets in prison for kicking a suspect in the head
Pastbot, you know the worst they'll get is suspension without pay.
I'd hate to say this, but no amount of head kicking, kidney punching, etc. is going to undo what he did. He gave himself up. He was not resisting arrest.
However it's kind of funny that you think what the criminal did is bad but what the cop did not is not since both actions qualify as criminal behavior.
Then again, logical arguments and rational thinking elude you (and always have been) so why don't you go and paint your face again and masturbate to 'wrasslers' instead of perpetually trolling on Poe. Hey, maybe you can imagine Boortz as being a 'wrassler' this time and he's all getting sweaty for you on Fox News.
Not that there's anything wrong with that if that's what you like, but don't closet yourself about it. Embrace it!
Why do you guys always side with criminals and terrorists?
It is because we are all terrorist criminals. I spiked the punch and stole a purse at the last terrorist picnic.
Seriously vermun. When the CIA uses advanced interrogation techniques on terrorists, you defend the terrorists. When a cop kicks a criminal y'all attack the cop. Its like you liberals live in a bizarro world.
Usist: That is actually a good argument. But that guy wasn't giving himself up. He led cops to a chase and then ran, and finally gave himself up when it was convenient.
You're confused, Cena: if I were defending criminals, I would be defending the police officer who illegally used excessive force, or the suspect who got kicked. Instead, I'm judging both. The only one defending a criminal here is you.
agreed futurebot. obviously the police here are douche bags. and to think cena sticks up for these guys? And then brings up terrorists and the cia??? The whole thing about torture...o I mean "advanced interrogation" is that most of those "terrorists" aren't really terrorists. But I am sure if you talk to anyone who has been water boarded they'll tell you anything you want them to.
Cena is all about state officers infringing on the sovereignty of the individual, he's a Libertarian.
The guy deserved a kick in the head.
However, before you can kick someone in the head, you have to study for many years and pass tests and have many hours of experience witnessing other kicks to the head being delivered, at which point you can be officially qualified to kick people in the head yourself. Even then, you may only proceed with the kicking in the head following appropriate procedure and under adequate supervision. This system is designed to try and prevent morons who themselves might deserve a kick in the head from becoming head kickers, since they might end up kicking people who did not deserve to be kicked in the head.
This system is called The Criminal Justice System, and it's not just a good idea, it's the law. I know it all seems very wacky and it escapes you right now, but there is a reason for it, and there is a reason why that kick was wrong, even if it felt so right.

Police brutality is a real thing.
This is not police brutality, but it was somewhat amusing.
The cops got their just licks in for having to chase the bastard.
Really, that kick wasn't a "punt" or "brutal." The guy got popped in the face for being a shit-bird loser punk. No harm, no foul. Any civilian that's disgusted by that shot is weak. Any cop that's disgusted by that shot is doubly-weak for knowing better.
I was expecting a full blown 50-yard-field-goal type of kick; that would have warranted some outrage. All I saw was a love tap.
I am very glad that both Cena Mark and Corporal Cowpat are here to dispense their wisdom in the area of crime and punishment. I have been suffering from the misapprehension that the courts determined what punishment is due when a criminal has been caught. I now know that it's the police who mete out justice, and that due process of law has nothing to do with it. Thanks guys, I'll be wrapping your thank you cards in the shredded remains of the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights.
I know what the police officer did wasn't proper decorum. But you guys are really making a mountain out of this molehill.
Small dick and smaller dick.
I'm crushing your head!
Oh. Oh, Oh. Oh. Oh. Kick to the head. A Kick to the head. Oh.
Look, look. See the camera? You're on Kicked in the Head.
El Monte. Enjoy it old man. It will be.... your last!

Day by day I am slowly turning into Nick C.
I hope he gets fired, not just two weeks of paid suspension.
I'm sure they got in big big trouble. Aren't those cops who beat King still in prison?

Anyone else catch the dog-handler at 50-52? Does he try and wiggle the guy's leg around to tempt the attack dog into a spot of lunch? Or is he doing something else?
Love the commentator's "Oh. Oh, Oh. Oh."

So in America, you actually have this shit live on the news? What the fuck?

Ladies and Gentlemen: the real world as it exists when nobody knows the camera is there and there's no editing.
Hell, it's the real world when the camera exists in not one but two helicopters, which are kinda loud, and pretty visible. This cop just doesn't give a damn.
How lucky can one guy be? I kissed her and she kissed me. Like the fellah once said...
