I watched some of this press conference (or whatever the hell it is) and if I recall, this question came not long after saying, in reference to Guantanamo Bay "If you don't have a place where you can hold these people as we do, your only other option is to kill them." Freedom for everyone, yay!
Too bad Cheney doesn't have more children in other minority groups.

I'm not sure what to make of this. he kinda talks big about rights, but in the end just says "Throw it back to the states." He believes in equality for all, unless a state legislature says different.

You know there was a time, an eight year period Mr. Cheney, where you could have helped your daughter live her life in peace. You missed that boat. Burn in your personal hell.
This is good in a broad sense. Even "Gay marriage is the right thing but the state should decide" is a step up spiritually if not technically. But I have no sympathy for this man. Clearly his empathy doesn't extend beyond his own spawn, and it barely reaches those borders.
