Honestly, I'm not sure the subtitles are adding much. The video was ridiculous enough in the first place. The edit doesn't even mention the already hilarious title of the song.

There are a lot of literal videos, but this and Total Eclipse of the Heart are the two very best ones. The others are either mildly amusing or outright annoying.

Someone else on the internet said the "Total Eclipse of the Heart" one was like a mix between Weird Al and MST3K, which actually was really accurate for that one.

And it's not a true literal video if it's not DESCRIBED LITERALLY. That's why it's funny. That's the point of why it's funny. THE POINT IS TO DESCRIBE THE VIDEOS. The point isn't to make fun of the videos like these guys are doing.
