A moderately sane, smoking hot blonde is exactly what the GOP needs to rely on as a rallying point.

So half the party can vote for her, and the other half can retreat to their snake handling churches, ensuring easy wins for their rivals.

The GOP is in a really tough bind here; do they abandon the more hardline folks and lose a big chunk of their supporters, or do they continue their current course and ostracize the growing number of people who are tired of their same old shtick?
Innocent Bystander - 2009-06-09
Oh she's turning a lot of men to snake handling.

Because masturbation.

manfred - 2009-06-09
one of the best comments i have ever read

well done, IB

Gotta git that boom boom pow.

Wytze! - 2009-06-10
hehehehehehhe. snake handling.

Cena_mark - 2009-06-09
She says a lot of reasonable things I've been saying.
HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-06-09
In which alternate reality? It certainly isn't the reality I'm living in.

Desidiosus - 2009-06-09
I remember you saying maybe Sarah Palin wasn't such hot shit about a month after the Couric interview.

So yes, you have said one verifiably reasonable thing.

Cena_mark - 2009-06-09
I support gay marriage, believe in evolution, I'm not pro-life.
I'm a socially liberal libertarian. I've said it a bunch of times.

Honest Abe - 2009-06-09
then why do you support torture

Cena_mark - 2009-06-09
That's not a social issue. Its a defense issue. I'm strong on defense.

Honest Abe - 2009-06-10
i don't think you understand what a strong defense entails

jaunch - 2009-06-09
Why doesn't she just be independent or democratic? She obviously *isn't* in the republican party, with all her talk of gay marriage and no-leadership and such.
PornocracyNow - 2009-06-09
because republicans are not defined by a handful of issues.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-06-09
She actually said she considered herself a Democrat two years ago, and that she had only registered Republican as a gift to her father.

Then again, being followed on the campaign trail gave her a taste for the political life, so why not take advantage of her family position and the desperate state the GOP is in now? Its not like she's stand out in the slightest as a Democrat.

Innocent Bystander - 2009-06-09
true. the republican party has issues by the boatloads.

Cleaner82 - 2009-06-09
She's absolutely dead-on. Social conservatism isn't a complete platform by any stretch but it's how the modern Republican party defines itself, and it's killing them.

futurebot - 2009-06-09
haha, pornocracy now still believes in some mythical genre of "republicans" who AREN'T some bizarre hybrid of eligible voter and ape

Tuan Jim - 2009-08-27
Edgar Rice Burroughs in his Tarzan series wrote of the last remnant of a lost civilization where, due to eugenics program undertaken in response to a crisis, all the women were smoking hot babes and the men were apes.

dueserpenti - 2009-06-09
What about that retarded Samoan McCain daughter? What's her platform like?
Caminante Nocturno - 2009-06-09
She built it out of particle board and glue.

StanleyPain - 2009-06-09
If whoever made this really thinks Megan McCain is the voice of the GOP, they are sadly mistaken. Limbaugh seems to be the front-runner right now, and considering the majority of the GOP, including Steele, take their marching orders from him, he might as well get a position.
PornocracyNow - 2009-06-09
I think its more of 'This is the voice we need to be listening to' vibe he's trying to put forward. He acknowledges the four other people who are getting more national attention at the beginning of the vid.

Paranatural - 2009-06-09
Things change. You know, Republicans are hard to respect these days. Someone like her could go a long ways towards correcting that.

GiantAtomicFreak - 2009-06-09
Meghan McCain/Trig Palin 2012

They'll run on a weird name platform.
