I'm not a huge fan of his work, but as an aspiring animator, I found this to be really encouraging.
I finally got this to load, and as an aspiring animator myself, I think I may have been looking at what it is I think I'm doing from a completely wrong point of view.
What point of view would that be?
Later, after Mr. Bakshi was sent a link to Wolf The Animated Feature, he retracted his entire statement.
I tend to be horrified by anything I do because it's not uberperfect in appearence, while forgetting that I am usually horrified by other peoples' work because it is not meaningful content, only pretty. Doublethink.
As an aspiring animator I don't see how this is going to help me bring life back to Laura, my luscious corpse bride.
As a bouncer I find this very inspirational.
I will five star this for the disclaimer, because I can't get it to load past people walking down the sidewalk, which sucks, because I like Ralph Bakshi.
I find it hard to believe that right now isn't a tough time for him.
I'd imagine a lot of copies of his Lord of the Rings were snatched up over the last few years...
I think it has always been a tough time for Ralph, he looks used to it at least.
Get it to load. The short version is: the newer generation of artists are fucking scared pansies. So we need to get off our lazy asses and start creating something since shit can be done with just one PC and a handful of people max.
Five stars of win for a Ralph Bakshi video. This clip should be required watching for all of Hollywood.
