Spoiler: He likes the game so much that his review is not very funny.

Spoiler: You're wrong.

He's quite right about "morality" in video games.

The only game that ever really got that kind of thing right was Fallout 1 and 2. They recapped the whole thing at the end, and you got a hint in the narrative if something you did was "evil" or "didn't turn out as well as it could have."

Fable, Bioshock, and to some degree, Fallout 3 all present you with saintly or demonic as your "choice" in these games, which really doesn't count as role-playing.

But... under this radical interpretation, where do video game characters get their morality!? Next you'll be saying that the Jedi and the Sith are just weilding an impersonal, amoral, Force and that both sides think they're doing what's right!

I... I'm scared.

Camonk - 2009-06-10

The Witcher handled it by giving you two bad choices and unknown consequences for the wrecked up shit you did.

RockBolt - 2009-06-10

Although not entirely "moral choice" I liked how Silent Hill 2 gave you endings based on actual style of play and not just go right or go left

BAM, offworld slavery.

Triggerbaby - 2009-06-10

Why do you hate freedom?

ProfessorChaos - 2009-06-11

He's not far off on the republican voting base...

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-06-10

Now do it all again but nastier.

Dr Dim - 2009-06-10

It's weird that an English guy living in Australia is referencing Walmart and Republicans.

Adham Nu'man - 2009-06-11

Baby, we all live in America.
