i have mixed feelings about michael moore, i mean i read one of his books and i enjoyed it, i enjoy most of his documentaries except for the parts where he gets too sentimental. But.. it just makes me feel dirty cos i know he's bullshiting about some/most parts but he tickles my commie bone like no one else.

kingarthur - 2009-06-15

I'm with him all the way until he gets too abrasive or sentimental. It's the tone of his voice when he does that...which he perfectly mocks here. So five stars.

Konversekid - 2009-06-15

Bringing you the second most factual movie of the year; next to Bruno.

Syd Midnight - 2009-06-16

I'll make fun of Moore and say I consider him a joke but secretly I am 100% on his side.

Jack Dalton - 2009-06-15

I didn't feel teased.

foopants - 2009-06-15

It would have been a relief to be tazed. I have no idea how to rate this! 5 because I hate Moore? 1 because he's a disgrace to liberalism?

NineEleven - 2009-06-15

Someone said he was fat is this true?

buttnutt - 2009-06-15

no

themilkshark - 2009-06-15

Motherfucker is right about shit.

fluffy - 2009-06-15

Wow, he looks old when he isn't scruffy.

zatojones - 2009-06-15

finally he's back to the topic at which he is best at raking muck

Louis Armstrong - 2009-06-15

I am giving five stars. Brcause it makes me feel...good.

chumbucket - 2009-06-15

so no shots of him and a megaphone outside AIG and BoA headquarters? or are we just to assume that's in the movie...come on Moore, do something new, for once

KnowFuture - 2009-06-15

Michael Moore always gets a five from me for being Kryptonite for people who suck.

poopskin - 2009-06-15

I was an usher at a movie theatre in Milwaukee WI when Moore's last movie (Sicko) came out, which was a bash to America's Health Care system. I remember on opening night a hospital rented out the entire theatre (it was an ornate movie palace built in the 1920s and seated over 1,000 people). Anyway, the place was populated by nurses and RNs, etc.. all of which were purchasing large Popcorns with extra butter, Cokes, etc. I thought that was a little weird. Subsequently patrons would come see it, bitching about America's state of health care whilst consuming the kind of food they themselves know will eventually land them in the hospital if they continue with their habits. I guess having worked as a little peon/popcorn slinger for two years kinda warped my opinion of anything that's asserting any sort of ideology or political agenda... basically everyone who's gonna go see it and pay .60 is a fucking asshole customer to me; I dunno 5 stars anyway because I don't work at teh movie theatre anymore

lolcoolj - 2009-06-15

MAYBE YOU ARE TO BLAME FOR SERVING THEM THE POPCORN!

poopskin - 2009-06-15

yeah I was part of the problem. One time some guy also asked for ten packets of nacho cheese (like the little ones that come in the square plastic containers) to go with his large popcorn. I'd put in three squirts of butter, and then give the bag back to him and he'd pour the cheese into it and hand it back to me. I repeated this ten times. Also the movie he was seeing was "Once."

I hope you had this kind of rapport with your customers:

KnowFuture - 2009-06-20

I went to see Sicko with my dad, who himself was royally fucked over by the American medical system and afterwards we went to Fuddrucker's for lunch and I noticed that over at the station that had all the spigots for soda refills, there was a nozzle at exactly the same level as the soda ones but this one dispensed nacho cheese. I didn't remember seeing nachos on the menu there, either. This was the only time I'd ever set foot in a Fuddrucker's and didn't really know what the rules were---do they have something where people go in and just drink cup after cup of nacho cheese like some weird sort of Bottomless Coffee Mug?

voodoo_pork - 2009-06-15

For all his blowhard-ness, his movies are genuinely funny and effective as editorial pieces. He plays loose with some facts, especially in "Sicko." I'm 3-starring this because I'm cautiously optimistic about this film. Plus this "trailer" is actually more of a one-liner than anything else.

Squidmojo - 2009-06-15

I've had an activist crush on him since Roger & Me.

socialist_hentai - 2009-06-15

Roger & Me was his best

phalsebob - 2009-06-15

Will Obama regret his part in the bailout? I guess I'll find out soon.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-06-15

I didn't realize how to rate this myself. Then I remembered that Republicans HATE Michael Moore. And they hate the Bailout.

I wait for the heads to explode when republican pundits realize they agree with Michael Moore.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-06-15

Next on Fox News: We actually like Michael Moore! We were just kidding about demonizing him!

memedumpster - 2009-06-15

Moore is hit or miss for me, so I reserve a star to have something of my own left if this movie lets me down.
