When I initially saw this on the Daily Show, I thought it was their translation instead of the actual translater. I repeat what Stewart said last night, even the translater isn't buying it.
Didn't want to submit this with the title, because I'm 95% sure he never actually answered the question. But CNN insists that he's not guaranteeing Mousavi's safety so I included it.
(I suppose the title is correct in the sense that there is no explicit guarantee, but I still think it's misleading)
also damn, she really stood up to him near the end there. Guts of steel, woman reporter. He just came off as as a fucking nutcase. I mean, babbling on a street corner nuts as opposed to regular politics as always nuts.
