I'm somewhat saddened by the lack of other comments.
The album is, quite neccessarily, a compromise. But Liz Frazier could be a root as rich as any mid-america fault line for producing a future music. There aren't many people who choose this path (and my readings suggest that Ms. Donaghy herself will do so only so long as album revenue supports her work.)
I have problems with it. Sometimes it lurches uncomfortably towards the Celine Dion (my musical training supplants all) world. But, for dream pop afficianados, Siobhan's work remains an oasis.
