Things like this remind me why I cannot respect the conservative/right-leaning demographic in society. I can deal with stupidity, but I can't withhold my contempt for cowardice and hypocrisy. In their minds, every teabagger sees themselves as equally, if not moreso, heroic than these kids. And just last week they were still hoping for the chance to drop bombs on the 'ragheads'.
The one thing that the thugs that came to power via the revolution in the 70s fear more than anything else in the world, include America's military or Israel's nukes, is the youth of their own country carrying out a revolution of their own.
"Look these people are bad people and I know that it was unpopular to call them part of an axis of evil or whatever it was, but we just showed again that an oppressive regime will not allow democratic elections, free and democratic elections," Mr. McCain insisted.
Well I think everyone agrees with McCain that the regime is evil. However the country as a whole is not. This is of course always the case with repressive leaders that many people seem to forget.
And there are better ways to change regimes than the glass parking lot method. Apparently letting the people get fed up might be enough in Iran's case. Though, had Israel or the US bombed them they might not have been so willing to turn on Ahmadinejad.
