IrishWhiskey Look, each of these companies have about the same level of crappy service, and break so-many guitars each year. The fact that United broke this guy's, means the overall number that they have left to destroy this year has gone down, and therefore its less likely to happen to me. So if I want to protect my guitar, I should fly United.

fluffy It's not the fact they broke the guitar so much as that they refused to own up to it and pay for damages, which is frankly a recurring theme with United and why I will personally never fly with them again if I can help it.

MrBuddy A good Taylor guitars cost $3,500, and yes this was the good model. My wife tells me Taylor replaced the guitars for free and their guitar sales have gone way up.
