I had this on laserdisc, but my player broke befor eI got around to it.

Iv'e seen Arena, though, which might be a sequel and definitely reuses the concept and some of the effects shots.

I rented this movie when I was 10.
All I really remember is the robot fights.
Plus, the main character is haunted by the fact that his robot crushed a bunch of spectators in the first match.
The rest of it sucks a chainsaw.
