I don't know hot to rate this. This movie was maybe the worst thing ever.

One of my all-time favourite movies.

Leave it to Tarantino. I'm watching Kurt Russel get the shit kicked out of him and I'm as bored as when I watched Jackie Brown (which is, possibly, the most awful movie ever made).

Tarantino can't even be bad or boring in an interesting way. At least Manos, while awful and boring, was a trainwreck of confusing ideas. Tarantino is just a hack without an original thought it his stupidly-shaped head.

The hour long original Grindhouse cut was fine, but the movie-length extended deluxo shit version was awful...there's no way this stretches out beyond an hour.
As an indulgence project, Grindhouse was fine, but once they tried to actually pass these off as stand-alone movies it just didn't work.

Unfortunately this is the best part of an otherwise mediocre movie.

I'm sorry, I don't need 20 minutes of hearing inane, utterly pointless chit chat of girls talking about their hair and boys... only to hear the same conversation AGAIN with NEW CHARACTERS. The driving scenes were awesome and fun. Too bad it took so long to get there.
