I thought the same thing. Either he was too much of a douche to admit that he could have deserved it, that it wasn't funny (except to us), or that she was trying to say no, or--and it looked like this more to me--he was introspectively wondering if she would respect his persistence or not.

He didn't quit, he just didn't want to know how rough the foreplay was going to be.

She picked up another bottle. We don't get to find out how far he was being a jerk (which I assume he had to be to ge), but she was apparently ready to bash him as many times as it took, for him to "get the message", which is saying something.

"I'll give you .00 if I can watch you make this bottle disappear."
