Oh, I get it. When he said, "Flame on," we expected him to burst into flames, in accordance with the super hero whose person he is imitating. But, comedy is present in the use of the word, "flame," which has colloquially been used in verb form to represent the actions and demeanor of homosexuals. So, when he said "Flame on," he defied our expectations by morphing into a gay man, as well as calling our attention to how we objectify gays with a single word by showing the relationship between homosexuals and the term "flame," fulfilling the call of his medium of comedy to be an unpredictable, transgressive medium.
