I was hoping it was about Jason Hall, but this was okay too.

This one I have heard of! Such an awesome, weird idea, though the movie wasn't as gonzo bugshit as I was hoping for.

Are they piezoelectric? When they crash is there lightning? Am I hoping for too much? This does look really cool though.

I grew up watching this movie. It's not a very good film, but nostalgic none the lesss.

I saw Monolith Monsters once on TV when I was a kid. This is another one of those movies that I just didn't understand.

Desidiosus
But it had rocks falling on people, so it was different from the one with the giant spider, or the one with the giant ants, or the other one with the bald guy who was actually a vegetable.

Oh I love these 50's / 60's movies but they're all the low budget same. LOTS OF TALKING, some spooky, LOTS MORE TALKING!... MORE TALKING! monster action happens!! TALKING! MORE TALKING! very fast monster resolution
Caminante Nocturno
I hope "Jenga apocalypse" becomes a linked tag.
Spit Spingola
Actually one of the better 50's Universal sci-fi flicks.

Ten bazillion originality points, obviously. The real invasion probably will be some mindless, implacable anomaly from the stars. That falls on people.

METEOR STRANGE!

Every monster movie back then was 'OH NOES COMMUNISM!'

At least this one seems to get creative and original.
