Will someone please tell Yahtzee that EVERYTHING has been done before. Get over it. If he's so concerned about originality he might want to try developing his stick beyond criticizing every game at all costs. I don't think he even likes videogames, and if he's so pissed off about repetition he must be pissed it's Thursday and that tomorrow will probably be Friday.
He's not angry that everything's been done already, he's angry that game developers aren't trying to be original anymore, and are just rehashing what sells.
I share his frustration that when an audience which has been fed crap for years gets crap with sprinkles on top instead, they laud it as amazing when it's still the same old crap.
Same observation stands with TV, Books, and Movies. Prove me wrong.
That's right, you can't.
Here's some objective truth: Cleaner sucks.
I got yer objective truth in my pants buddy!

I actually like the idea of an unoriginal Indiana Jones ripoff, it appeals to my warped sense of nostalgia quite nicely.
The thing that gets me about Yahtzee is that he exhudes this air of pretension; that any game that doesn't live up to his ridiculous expectations wasn't worth making and shouldn't be enjoyed by anyone.
Who give a crap anyway? If you decide you don't like a game, just return it to the store, you don't need Yahtzee's opinion governing your enjoyment of things.
Yeah, agreed. Every Zero Punctuation is a very special Zero Punctuation.
You shouldn't watch Yahtzee to find out whether or not to buy a game. You should watch it to laugh at the pimples on the big boys and the down's syndrome in the shit games.
THIS GAME WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD AND YAHTZEE SAYS ITS NOT AND NOW IM MAD
One day I'll get a video game console and then see what all this hate is really about!
A quote from Yahtzee:
On second thoughts, let's not call it being 'asexual'. That feels a wee bit pretentious. 'Celibate' will do. I can still see the appeal of emptying one's grubby little speed bag, I'm just lost on why it's so important that you catch the residue in another person's organic waste paper basket.

He makes nerdy video games and novels comic books and can talk real fast and he can't find any pleasure in human intimacy.
Decent, but he really has a more than average hate-on for this franchise. I still think the platforming is too obvious and telegraphed, I don't know what he keeps confusing for background
Not his best review, but at least Escapist did away with the unbelievably unfunny promos for their other unfunny shit.
