That's a pretty cute kitten,but the stars are really for the vaguely unsettling filmmaking.
The furry toy looks like the rotting corpse of the mother cat, but it moves slightly occasionally invoking a sense of the abject and forcing the viewer to reflect on the permanence of death. The silence of the cameraman/narrator can represent the eye of an uncaring and somewhat sadistic god, allowing the exquisitely vulnerable and deformed animals to slowly die without their mother, only moving the corpse slightly to stimulate his own amusement, and finally speaking only to reprimand the doomed kittens for attempting to gain independence from the mother/corpse by interacting with each other. The last "Tsk"s are another attempt at complete control and forced and protracted infatilization, an attempt to stop one of the most natural and useful actions of an adult cat, self cleaning. It also could be seen as preventing the kitten from cleaning the mother's rotten stink from himself, using the ever present stench as a reminder of sin and unavoidable damnation. This might be a reference to pre-Reformation Christianity's avoidance of bathing, or it could simply be a crazy Angela-from-from-The-Office cay lady.
Still a pretty cute kitten though.
