Is it just me or does not wanting to die in a nuclear war have a serious liberal bias to it?

We're supposed to always be ready to die in the defense of liberty... or, failing that, build a bunker in Idaho with your four common law wives to survive the Apocolypse, guaranteeing the true intentions of Joseph Smith's words on polygamy survive, unalderated by modern blasphemies.

Also, holy shit, this exists.

Then they built a new wall and shot at the Arabs and drove them to live under rocks like the scarabs.

BUT WHO WON?

I'm a Bakshi fan and I never knew this existed. Bakshi's animation sure is cheesy compared to Chuck Jones but I liked this more than some of his adaptations of Suess. Some more polish would be nice but at least he doesn't distract from the point of the story.

This would be a lot more effective if the Zukes weren't objectively wrong.

Eating bread butter-side down is more economical as gravity allows the excess to drop off and be used later.

But I wouldn't expect a Yook-loving capitalist pig like yourself to understand that.

I like Bakshi, but he really has no idea what he's doing almost all the time. The "musical" numbers were terrible, the characters look like testicles. The pacing is markedly uneven. It's like he's always making a movie with only a vague idea what a movie is.

Five stars.

I'm pretty certain that Bakshi is an alien. No human being could be as infinitely clueless as him when it comes to the merest basics of everything.

Fuck, why did Dr. Seuss have to die?

I never knew that this existed!

I have no idea how I came across this as a kid, but this is my favorite of the animated Dr. Seuss stuff.

I first saw this several years ago. Not so many that I was a child, so I saw Bakshi's fumbling hand in it. Oh well. Dr. Seuss could have written a story about an extremely ugly women taking a crap on a kitten, and I'd give it five stars if it came up here.

That I saw this in high school history makes me happier about my education.
