Too bad this is anonymously posted. I really want to know whose apt and righteous opinion is there in the description.

I have never seen Slumdog Millionaire, but I've heard it's awesome. I have seen this movie, however, and will say that it is awesome. I don't see why they both can't be awesome.
Slumdog Millionaire is more likely to go down on a bunch of tired old faggots' list of best movies of all time.
Bold, visionary, artistic movies that make you think, weep and wonder will have to be barely saved by Son of Son of Scorsese in 50 years.
Now I kind of wish there really was an official Tired Old Faggots' List of Best Movies of All Time.

I'm not sure how I felt about the sequel, City of Man, but then I was comparing it to this movie, and that's like comparing getting a blow-job on your prom night from your hot foreign ex-super model high school teacher, to getting one from her and her twin sister the night before.

Perfect date movie. Violence, romance, great story, and enough of a hoidy toidy artistic feel to backup that lie you told her about film school.
The first movie my partner and I ever watched together was Devil's Rejects.
I told her it was a romantic comedy.
