My first job was at a Mcdonalds, and I remember whenever anybody ordered an orange soda and if it wasn't happy meal sized I could expect a black person to pull up to the drive through window.
People use the word 'Stereotype' as though they're horrible, but most are based on reality.
This clip isn't even racist. Kel loves orange soda. They didn't say black people love orange soda as Kel is the only character who flips out over orange soda. Kenan does just fine without it.
This show had some seriously freaky shit in it that I didn't think too much about when I was a kid.
Like in one episode, the owner of the convenience store keeps talking about how he had to take his mother to have her feet scraped, and then he holds up a bag full of powder and says 'look it's my mother's foot scrapings'
Then later on I think somebody accidentally uses it as parmesan cheese or something.
