I still remember the first time I saw Xuxa. It was at Thanksgiving. We were at my grandmother's house. My father and I were bored so we started looking around for something on television.

We landed on a blond woman in a silver space suit. She was surrounded by children and a midget. She handed the midget a sandwich. The midget looked happy until Xuxa took it away and scolded him. Then the midget cried. It was like a fever dream.

Come to think of it, that was the best Thanksgiving ever.
