The facts might be interesting, but if you need to read a description and in-video annotations to explain what can't be seen, then the facts are the only interesting thing -- not the video.
It's like watching a video of the President fighting a ninja behind a bunch of trees through a telescopic lens, with annotations: "He caught a shuriken between his teeth!" "Now he's using it to stab the ninja in the neck!"
