I loved this game. The second was good too, but I preferred the sprites of the original. Overall, some fun metroid-esque platforming. I'd kill to find a disc of this to play again.

poorwill Godhand is just okay - here are some GOOD beat em ups for you to not play Camonk:
Violent Storm: Tomba! fans take note: There are pigs in this game! You can't hump them, but they follow you around and if you try to pick them up, they turn into footballs which you can throw at enemies. The football bouncing physics are startlingly good for a game not about football. Gameplay is basically Final Fight but the aesthetics are sort of a cross between Fist of the North Star and Aerobics. Fun!!!!!
Knuckle Bash: This game is awesome. You are a pro wrestler trying to take down a corrupt wrestling organisation to bring back honour and dignity to the profession. There is an Elvis guy you can be whose special is to create an electric guitar out of electricity which sucks up all the bad guys when you play it. Or something, it's pretty hard to tell what's going on. There is a hotel stage where you just go around beating up valets and bellhops with their little luggage carriers. The main villain is amazing - he's this hugely obese guy with a pig's head surgically attached to his face. So I guess Tomba! fans will like this too!

9. Tecmo Knight
10. Blade Master
Note the absense of God Hand (and Streets of Rage 2 & 3 for that matter, you phony faggots)
Also, Camonk, you should play Kirby's Dreamland 3 - it will make you question your gaming sexuality! You have this fatty cat friend who rolls you around like a ball and rubs you on his belly to charge you with static electricity! Then play Yoshi's Island, because that is the best game of all time other than Aliens vs Predator!!!!! Bonk's Adventure is awesome too (the ARCADE VERSION - not the PC engine version, which is just kind of dulll). Also also, Spelunky is a platformer and that game is cooool!

Yeah this was easily one of my favorite games on the PS1 and I have unfortunately never seen another game that captured the same feel/design.
