I haven't played Bayonetta, but this game is actually pretty fun. It's a God of War/Devil May Cry clone, but that doesn't make it bad necessarily.
Pros:
Smooth gameplay and controls. Good visuals. Interesting environments. Fast loading times. The music is much less annoying than what I've seen of Bayonetta.
Cons:
The story is pretty stoopid. Characters aren't very interesting. Puzzles are a bit repetitive. It's doubtful you'd play it more than once.

Just as retarded as Bayonetta, but the music is better.
Not that it's good, mind you; it is still pretty horrible music, but at least it didn't rape my ears like that bayonetta clip did.
