Five stars for Glenn Beck sounding like he has a cold.

Also: Glenn Beck keeps a crazy person's diary.
Cena_mark - 2010-01-14

"I want to read to you what I wrote in my journal, thereby invalidating it as a journal entry and making it instead a letter to you."
Cena_mark - 2010-01-14
While writing in his journal the inspiration to ask Palin that came to him. That's why it still counts as a journal entry.

"Yeah... that trust thing. It, you nailed it with that question, you know, trustworthy people surrounding us, leading us, um, we've got to be able to trust, but very, very dangerous to trust people in this business of politics, Glenn...

I know that moment, uh, Todd and I've had those moments with those, uh, around us. Happens to be those who have been in the political arena, not in our real world, our family, trust people there, but, um, yeah, not a comfortable place to be when there is so much doubt as to who you can trust."

I know it looks like a jumble of disconnected phrases, but there are some hidden gems of meaning in there! You just have to dig a bit to find them. Here are the two things Sarah communicated from above: "Trust is important but risky in politics. I trust my family but reserve doubts about politicians." Yep, underneath her scattershot vocalizations lies a simple, almost childlike understanding of the world, bereft of nuance, subtlety, or insight. It's endearing, really.
pastorofmuppets - 2010-01-14
But trust *is* important in politics! You never hear those other guys saying things like that. Sarah Palin speaks my language: good things are good, and not only that, bad things are BAD! We need to get America "back on the right track," and frankly, I think that someone who is unafraid to say true things like that is a good person to do that, despite her inability to do her job and general lack of experience in much besides embezzlement. WHY DO YOU HATE FREEDOM

2 people repeating themselves over and over again. Trying to use big words to make themselves sound more intelligent and sharing their souls to show they care about the little man. The way he read that diary entry, it totally sounded like he has a major boner for her.
fatatty - 2010-01-14
It is amazing how those two can use so many words to say so little.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-01-14
The real star of this video is the rock 'n' roll guitar track paired with flying pictures of founding fathers. That's how you know this is good journalism.
socialist_hentai - 2010-01-14
I can't trust that damn statue, she supposedly takes bums in and takes care of them, sounds like a liberal commie dyke to me. Now the Eiffel Tower, that's a building i can trust!
Cena_mark - 2010-01-14
That statue welcomed in LEGAL immigrants.
Don't trust the Eiffel Tower, its French.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-01-14
Most of them were legal. Huddled masses quota was 3% in them days.

That is the number one reason I can't watch more than the ten seconds I already have. It's transparent and gross enough to make people squirmingly uncomfortable.

Hey! How come they're in NYC!? That's not the real America. If only these two could broadcast themselves where their supporters are.

"I'm not gonna lose hope that things won't change."

There's Sarah Palin, always going on about Hope and Change.
James Woods - 2010-01-14
So what's aaactually going on here?

Sarah Palin is trying to turn her audience against POLITICIANS!?

Have they calculated the potential damage of their efforts? It's as if Fox wants to have the best coverage of the apocalypse so they're setting up the shot and lining up the pins. They're making people crazy. Is Fox somehow funded by Iran?

It's like 2 hobos who have found each other and who both think they are having their minds controlled by the same satellite. The same crazy gets amplified in some kind of wacky feedback loop.
